Why are you doing this?
To spread hope through spoken word/poetry. Poetry is not a sermon and it’s not a song. It fits somewhere in between. When I think about everyone who will be attending worship gatherings during Holy Week I cannot help but believe there will be a few who deeply connect with poetry.

What’s your background?
I am a graduate of Concordia University Wisconsin. I graduated in 2012 with a degree in Ministry and Theology. I served full-time as Program Director at Camp Luther in Three Lakes, Wisconsin for several years. From 2016-2019 I worked for the ACTS Church Network in Austin, Texas. There I had the opportunity to teach and lead community groups. Since 2019 I have been a full-time author, poet, and speaker. These days I get to share poetry and deliver messages of hope across the country at churches, conferences, and community gatherings.
